Facilitator Training

Are you the type of person who is ready for a challenge? If you are separated, divorced or widowed and would be willing to be trained as a facilitator to help people help themselves in a peer ministry healing process, you’re a candidate. We’re looking for a few brave people — the committed, and the person willing to learn and take a risk. The Together We Can Make It program is for separated and divorced and the New Day program is for widowed. Both programs are small support groups, using specific materials, with a limited number of participants designed to assist people who are newly hurting. Participation in the program can empower individuals and be an ongoing opportunity for leadership while establishing ground for self-healing and growth.

Training for facilitators will be led by Dorothy Levesque, former Rhode Island archdiocesan ministry director, will be held on a Saturday in late Spring, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at The Villa, 6806 Bellona Ave, 21212. Fee: $25. For more information contact Sr. Joannes at 410-377-2450 X153
