Join Fr. Joe in examining the highs and lows of the Christmas season. At times it may be lonely when past memories make Christmas sad. Living in the past with its hurts and regrets is hard. Living in the future with its worries and anxieties is also difficult. However, living in the present moment, life is manageable and we thus experience the true meaning of Christmas.

Deputy opinion editor of the Baltimore Sun, Michael Cross-Barnet, will discuss how opinions are formed, how other people's opinions are gathered and the interaction with the readers in generating the Opinion Page of the Baltimore Sun. The process will be discussed followed by a question and answer period.

Michael Cross-Barnet, formerly an editor at the Los Angeles Times, is the Deputy opinion editor of the Baltimore Sun.

These and other questions will be addressed as we examine self understanding and the skills needed in building healthy relationships. Learn the skills to make healthy decisions and to avoid negative outcomes.

Carrie Hansen is a clinical supervisor and director of stepfamily programs at NIRE. Ms. Hansen is certified as a Relationship Enhancement(R) Program Leader and specializes in working with couples considering separation or divorce, remarriage issues, and parenting and stepfamily issues. She also works with children in a private school in Prince George's County, Maryland.
